Created by Matthew C. Shuman, Nick & Noodles is a continuing comic strip about an elementary school teacher, his lovable floppy-eared dog, and the everyday moments that rarely go quite as planned.

Nick teaches at Midville Elementary, where overflowing inboxes, unexpected interruptions, and classroom surprises provide plenty of material. At home, his passion for weather can make even a simple walk require a forecast. Noodles prefers fewer preparations, more naps, and sharing his observations with you ... the reader.

Their world includes Hazel’s Bakery & Cafe, where the grandmotherly owner serves up coffee, kindness, and occasional matchmaking. Linda, an accountant who has caught Nick’s attention and earned Noodles’ approval, is becoming part of their story, too.

Whether you recognize the teacher frustrations, appreciate a dog’s priorities, or simply enjoy a little everyday humor, there’s a place for you in Midville.
