In addition to his musical accomplishments, Matthew's pencil drawings have been showcased in exhibits with the Maryland State Arts Council and the Carroll County Arts Council. His original artwork, along with signed pencil drawing prints, are displayed in homes and businesses across the United States. Most recently his photography has been selected to be featured on the front cover of Delaware Beach Life Magazine's July 2026 issue.

Mount Rushmore
A very meaningful milestone in my artistic journey comes with my pencil drawing of Mount Rushmore being selected for recognition by the Maryland State Arts Council and displayed in the Goldstein Treasury Building as part of the Maryland Muse: A Tapestry of Inspiration exhibition in Annapolis, Maryland.
Receiving a Certificate of Recognition from the State of Maryland and Comptroller Brooke Lierman was an incredible honor, but seeing one of my drawings exhibited in our state's capital made the experience even more memorable.
Created entirely in graphite pencil, this drawing challenged me to capture not only the likeness of one of America's most recognizable monuments, but also the strength, character, and history carved into the granite itself. Every line and shadow was carefully developed to bring depth and realism to the four presidential figures.
Moments like this remind me why I continue to create. Whether through music, photography, or pencil drawing, my goal has always been to tell a story, preserve a moment, and inspire others through art.
I am sincerely grateful to the Maryland State Arts Council, the Office of the Maryland Comptroller, and everyone who has supported my creative journey over the years.

My Photograph Featured on the Cover of Delaware Beach Life Magazine
A new highlight to my creative journey comes with the release of the July 2026 issue of Delaware Beach Life Magazine, featuring one of my photographs on its cover.
The image captures the iconic Indian River Inlet Bridge illuminated in red, white, and blue beneath a breathtaking Delaware sunset ... a moment when light, color, and timing came together in a way I'll never forget.
Photography has become one of my greatest creative passions alongside music and drawing. While every photograph begins with a camera, the most memorable images are often the result of patience, persistence, and simply being in the right place at the right time.
I'm incredibly grateful to the team at Delaware Beach Life Magazine for this honor and to everyone who has supported my creative journey over the years. Whether you've discovered my work through my original piano music, pencil drawings, or photography, your encouragement continues to inspire me to keep creating.
Sometimes all it takes is the right place, the right time ... a little patience ... and the willingness to wait for something extraordinary.
