WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST FRIDAY
WHAT: Mixed precipitation expected. Ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch, with locally two tenths of an inch in the higher elevations. Snow and sleet accumulations less than a half inch are also possible. WHERE: Portions of central, north central and northern Maryland, northern and northwest Virginia and eastern West Virginia. WHEN: Until 10 AM EST Friday. IMPACTS: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Light mixed precipitation will occur at times today, but a prolonged period of freezing rain will lead to greater impacts tonight into Friday.
