SNOW UPDATE ❄️:  Good Sunday morning everyone!  Did you see them?  First flakes were flying through the sky for much of northern (and some of central) Maryland last evening.  Some places were lucky enough to get an ever so slight dusting!  While not much, there is always something magical for many ... when it comes to the first sign of snow for the season.  If you know the feeling, you know the feeling.

Looking at the weather this week ... those that saw flurries last evening, might see some more flurries Tuesday morning!  Otherwise, it looks like it will be a pretty nice week overall ... with a decent amount of sun.

Good Sunday morning everyone!  If you live in the western portions of our great state ... you woke up yesterday morning to some of the first "substantial" flakes of the season.  The good feels this sight brings ... never gets old (imo of course ;)).  Heard from Snowman Community members in Deep Creek yesterday, that it was beautiful.   Here are some western Maryland traffic cameras from the NWS from yesterday.

Like every year, I've missed snow reporting to all of you on the "off season."  I am dusting off TSH (The Snowman Headquarters) in Westminster, MD and getting the show back on the road!   Time to get back to business with the (hopefully many) SNOW UPDATES!!!  The mailing list is always growing ... we are up to 2500ish email addresses, so bear with me if it does not always work correctly as that is alot of addresses to manage.  So far so good though ... it appears to be consistently working.

It has been a beautiful fall across the state and the trees with leaves that are still hanging on are brilliant!  Here was the frosty view from TSH the other morning!

This may be old news to many of you ... but ... the tree that will be on display in Rockefeller Center in NYC this year came from our state!  From good'ole Elkton, MD!  For more information ... check out this NBC4 News story --> here!
